  • Thanks you @nateravitz and @MatthewBerryTMR for teaching the world the proper pronunciation of Bowdoyne. Sorry @ktwalks. #
  • @MatthewBerryTMR I'm a Pats fan. I've got Rivers and Orton as QBs. Do I just start Orton and not have to deal with rooting against myself? #
  • If I never mentioned it before, Pumpkin Pie Pop Tarts = greatest culinary innovation in the past bajillion years. #

  • I'm fairly certain there is no worse programming language than PHP. It takes all the worst things of other languages and then adds more suck #

  • Back from NYC, 8 hours of driving, but it was worth it. However, I did spend most of my time in Barnes and Noble reading a book. LIVE IT UP! #

  • Got my stitches out. I'm almost back to normal. Over/under is about 10 days before I slice open another toe. #
  • I've hit the 4:30 wall, apparently. I'm lacking energy and can't think of anything funny to tweet. Oh wait, I can.

  • So, after 3 or 4 weeks, the only new shows that are good are Terriers and Raising Hope. Everything else is trash. #

  • Man, Tyrod has looked great running the ball today. Great, great reads. #

An *Amazing* Week

Warning: There will be some gross-ass pictures in this post.

As I mentioned last week, I had a bit of an incident with my left big toe. A big slice in it, four stitches, etc.

Here's how it looked at various points during the week:

Warning: Again, last chance to bail out.

The Cut:

Then, playing some softball (stupid, I know, but I was just catching), I got hit with an errant throw in my thigh. That looked like this over the course of the week:

But, the week ended with a nice dinner at Flatbread Pizza (chorizo, corn chips, corn, black beans, lettuce, salsa, sour cream!), a couple of nice drinks, and a nice walk back up from Davis Square. Until we saw a poor cat get hit by a car, struggle to the side of the road, and fight for about 5 minutes while we worked with some other good samaritans to get it some help. We ran to get something to transport the cat to an animal hospital, but by the time we got back, the cat (thankfully) had lost its fight. It was tough to see, as you might expect.

I'm hoping the coming week will be a bit happier than this one has been. And, yeah, the whole *amazing* thing was tongue-in-cheek.
